Discovering a New Sound Makes our Week

Anyone that has been to our firm or has tuned in our agency radio station knows that there is always great tunes spinning in the office. Music is a big part of our culture here and we love it when we discover a new artist that provides a unique sound. Recently we discovered two great rockabilly ones that we've been listening to all week.

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis are a three-piece band comprising the teenage siblings of the Durham family. Their music is influenced heavily by R&B, swing, jump blues, country and Western, blues, Hawaiian and rock 'n' roll. They are all multi-instrumentalists playing guitar, piano, banjo, lapsteel guitar, harmonica, double bass, ukulele, drums, trombone, xylophone and accordion between them.

Imelda May

Having fallen in love with rockabilly and the blues as a nine-year-old in Dublin – the only kid in her class who wasn’t into a-Ha and Wet Wet Wet – she’s turned them into a cool, swinging fusion that’s both classic and oddly modern.

Tune into to they inspire live this morning for a listen.
