Has CNN Missed the Twitter Boat?
One of the great appeals of Twitter is it's ability to communicate information in a timely manner to the people that are following you. With that in mind, one of the first 'Tweeps' I started to follow was @cnnbrk (the world's leader in online news & information delivery – as the put it) thinking I would always be in the know in terms of the latest news developments. Yet I am continually surprised with the infrequent and non-relevant tweets that this organization sends out.
On average, CNN sends out 1 tweet every 2 days. Hardly enough to stake their claim as the world's leader in online news & information delivery. By contrast, @BreakingNews sends out about a tweet every hour and depending on the story every few minutes if it's developing. Surely, there is enough going on in the world that CNN can have something to broadcast.
